Awful experience, learning to drive with Anne was the biggest waste of money ever. She is completely unenthused, my lack of confidence with driving seemed to annoy her more than anything and I did not feel as though she wanted me to pass at all. She did not try to help build my confidence. Honestly wish I could get a refund. Please do not learn with Anne there are so many better teachers out there. She knows her stuff but that’s it, I failed my first test with her and she didn’t contact me after so basically just robbed me of hundred of pounds. Why do a job that you can’t even pretend to enjoy.
A friend of mine has Anne for his driving instructor and I can say in full confidence that she is the worst driving instructor by far! she disappeared for two weeks on holiday without telling her pupil, who was trying to get into contact for his lesson that was pre-booked and which she missed while away! Extremely unprofessional! In addition to this, my friend has his second driving test tomorrow and has been trying to get into contact with Anne Hunt for over two weeks since his last test and she has not answered, knowing full well his test is soon! yesterday she finally got into contact and asked him to call her. When he did she gave my friend the option to have a lesson tonight at seven but she was not interested in compromising the time or allowing my friend to have a more convenient time lesson. She then threatened my friend in saying if he didn't have the lesson tonight, she would not go through with his test tomorrow! She has now made my friend feel very nervous and unconfident!!
Anne is a fantastic instructor and the first that was able to actually teach me to drive! Passed first time and it is all thanks to her excellent instruction.
I used Anne Hunt in the summer of 2011 with the intent of learning to drive before I went off to university. Anne really helped me achieve this aim. I passed on my first attempt and I believe it was down to Anne's method of really throwing you in and getting you going from day 1. She keeps you motivated and helps you with any and all problems you encounter. I then did my pass plus with her and once again had a fantastic experience, I would really encourage everyone to go to Anne for a top class lesson.
Myself and several of my friends used Anne Hunt for driving instruction because she was local to our area. I want to warn you against using her. It's not that she's a bad person but that she clearly does not enjoy her job and lacks any enthusiasm. On top of regularly turning up late and then cutting the lesson short even when I pay the full fee. She simply should not be teaching people in one of the most important phases of their lives a skill that is so imperatively important to get correct.I must therefore warn you against using Anne Hunt at all costs.Very Poor.
